It is essential that students budget their time in order to be successful in this class as well a their other course. There is no late work accepted in APUSH. Students are expected to have completed the required textbook readings BEFORE the essays and re-read them before the unit tests. You will not be hand held on this point. It is up to you to make a reading schedule that works for you and stick to it. I suggest annotating your textbook as this is the primary reason many students purchase their textbooks. It is a valuable resource and makes studying for unit tests, trimesters and the AP exam much easier.
APUSH is divided by units versus chapters. Each unit contains between 2-5 chapters. We cover a unit every 2 weeks. Advanced planning is essential for success in this course. As such, I am providing you with the units for the entire year in June so you can plan accordingly.
Course calendar is also posted on school loop. You should be able to see the calendared items when you log onto your school page.
