Students may purchase the book online, at a local bookstore, or from a former APUSH student. The book is also available as an audio download, on CD and on your kindle/ipad. Students may also access the book for free online here but some of the pages may not be available. See me if you want to photo copy your assigned chapters from my copy. You are to provide information NOT on your handout during your presentation. No one wants the handout read to them. You will have between 10-12 minutes to present your entire chapter so be prepared.
WHGW Group of 5 Podcasts
Group members not assigned a WHGW chapter can each listen to one of the Civil War podcasts (one per person). Podcasts are available via the link below and iTunes. They are free.
WHGW first due date is available on school loop. Plan accordingly. We will go over the plan for Book Club as the dates near. You are STRONGLY encouraged to read the entire book, not just your assigned chapter, and to read ahead. It will certainly help with essays and understanding the analytical details. Remember you pick your group so pick wisely. You need to include possible essay topics in your written handout!
